8th Luminary International Conference

Conference Background

In the face of intensifying global crises—including climate change, biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and rising socio-economic inequalities—the call for innovative and interdisciplinary solutions has never been more urgent. The 8th Luminary International Conference continues its tradition of creating a dynamic and inclusive platform where researchers, educators, industry leaders, policymakers, and students converge to share knowledge and generate impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

Organized by Lumina Foundation and its academic and institutional partners, this year’s conference seeks to foreground the interconnected roles of research, technology, and education in addressing the most pressing environmental and social challenges of our time. As a catalyst for global cooperation and innovation, the conference invites critical dialogue, presentation of novel research, and dissemination of transformative practices that promote sustainability across sectors and regions.
