Research Workshops on Traditional Knowledge

The Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development, in collaboration with the Network of Professional Researchers and Educators, and with the generous support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, St. Louis University Baguio, the University of Southern Mindanao, De La Salle University Southeast Asia Research Center and Hub (DLSU-SEARCH) and in cooperation with the Indigenous Peoples of Panay and Mindanao, initiated a comprehensive series of research workshops focusing on the vital themes of oral tradition and lived religion as they intersect with the urgent issue of climate change, entitled, “Research Workshops on Traditional Knowledge: “Oral Histories and Lived Religious Traditions in response to climate change”

The research workshops took place on the following dates and locations: July 13-14, 2023, at St. Louis University in Baguio City (Luzon); August 10, 2023, in Boracay (Visayas); and September 28-29, 2023, at the University of Southern Mindanao in Cotabato (Mindanao).
